Homeward Trails Animal Rescue: In Store Cat Adoption Event

Homeward Trails seeks to find permanent adoptive homes in the Mid-Atlantic Region for dogs and cats from high-kill shelters or whose owners can no longer care for them. In so doing, we seek to reduce the rate of euthanasia of adoptable animals through the rescue and placement of homeless animals; to support proactive spay/neuter practices; to promote positive and ongoing behavioral training; and to educate the public about how to care for their animals in a humane way.

Pints for Paws: Happy Hour with your Pooch by your side

For the abused, abandoned, and forgotten animals, WARL provides the perfect atmosphere for recovery as they make the transition from lives of hardship to being cherished members of the family.

Capital Dog Training Club: Trick Training Workshop with Ann Melchior

Ann Melchior from the Capital Dog Training Club of Washington DC will be joining us for an Informational Trick Workshop. We ask that you please leave your pooches at home and come ready to master some easy-to-learn skills. Trick training is a perfect way to exercise your dog's brain and body, improve his behavior around the house, dazzle your friends and enhance the dog/owner relationship. Ann will have a power point sideshow, handouts and will be performing a number of demonstrations with her own dog. If you're interested please RSVP to Living Ruff (301-495-7833) to reserve your spot! Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue: Adoption Event on Ellsworth

The purpose of the Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue is to help unite Great Pyrenees dogs with prospective new homes. They also help reunite lost dogs with their owners and provide guidance for those folks who think that they might need to find a home for their Great Pyrenees.
